Applications
1. Only a fool believes he needs no advice
2. There are always benefits in a multitude of counsel
3. We need to grow to the point that we can GIVE Biblical counsel.
Ex 18:24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that he had said. 25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens. 26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves. 27 And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his own land.
Proverbs 11:14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established.
